ABOUT MEMy name is Jason Salam. I'm from Manipur, India. I graduated from Amity University in 2012 with a degree in business administration with marketing as my major and finance as a minor. Currently, I'm in the second year of the MBA sports management program at Tiffin University.
During my undergrad, I interned at a commodity exchange with the business group. The nature of the job had some financial elements to it but for the most part, it was marketing. Besides this, I served at non profits and voluntary programs. My transition to sports business and management has been smooth ever since I came here. I have been actively involved with the athletics department since the beginning of my second year. My internship with the International Soccer Network, LLC not only complemented that experience but exposed me to the media relations and promotion that are essential for a sport to grow. I aim to utilize the management skills that I have gained over the years which are relevant in the sports scenario. Also, the sports management club has really given me a new perspective as to how to go about in this career line. All in all, It has been an exciting journey - academic and experience wise and I'm looking forward to learning more and connecting with people.
